Blogging:
Sites that are useful for setting up your own blog.
www.wordpress.com
www.posterous.com
www.blogger.com
Video:
www.youtube.com - easy to use, but does have adverts that pop up. In addition to this, YouTube has a massive amount of users, and every now and then, they write something silly in the comments area. You can keep the videos private, but you need to make a decision as a school as to the best way forward.
www.vimeo.com - this is a nice site, that gives you 500Mb a week for free if you are using the basic package and are linked to education. You can pay a small amount a month and you get more space and your videos are processed quicker.
Interesting sites:
Tips on how to make films with children.
The possibilities of Social Media in School.
Iphone 4 movie - the possibilities

Make your own interactive posters!
Online mindmapping - convert to PDF
Make a dotty poster, up to 20m in length.
Amazing free, online paint and photo editor!
Amazing ICT site - loads of links!
Make your own QR code – ideal for sharing websites and messages around the school
